Addition to the family

We, well I, have decided to get a kitty. The boys are definitely on board. So we have been on a search. We have purchased a bed, toys, dishes and a fancy self cleaning litterbox.
We have gone to some PetCo's looking at the cats they have and we are planning on going to some shelters this weekend and next. We are ready and our house is ready.
I have my heart set on a black or black/white 3-5 month old female.
I need to fall in love with this kitty before we bring it home. I have seen some online that are adorable.
So, here goes!
