Heroes Reading

Our school is having a heroes themed book fair this week and tonight was family night. A soldier, firefighter, police officer and a nurse all read to groups of kids during the event. It was great. We had to hear the firefighter since he's one of our friends!



Firefighter Mosley reading "The firefighters night before Christmas". He was so sweet and brought his helmet and coat and let all the kids try to pick them up. Drew said they were too heavy for him! I tried to get a pic but he moved too fast!



And here's the police officer reading, "Officer Buckle and Gloria". He was great too and talked to the kids a lot.


A great big thanks to all the heroes for what they do everyday to keep us safe and make our lives better!
And a great big thanks to our wonderful librarian.
