whew!

well, tonight was interesting to say the least! I got Drew from his classroom around 3:30 after he threw up his snack! Yuck! Poor little guy. We left and got Dylan and headed home to a busy, busy evening! So, we are home and Drew is feeling a little crummy and wants to sit on the couch for a bit. So, I put on some Curious George followed by Jon and Kate plus 8! Dylan is on the floor doing his best impression of an inch worm! I'm in the kitchen getting dinner started, whipping up some banana nut bread for Drew's teachers and stuffing goodie bags for mine and Drew's classes! This is the 4th day in a row that Craig has been working past dinnertime. :( Anyway, I'm in the kitchen and everything is fine. Drew is starting to feel better and is requesting marshmallows and juice! Dylan is ready to eat a little after 5 so I start feeding him and have turkey burgers in the skillet going. Then after he's done eating, I finish dinner and check on the bread. The bread is taking forever to cook! Drew and I eat and Dylan entertains us in his highchair singing and chewing on everything in sight. Then Drew starts tickling him...so sweet and cute that I start to cry! ugh, I know, sorry!
After dinner as I was getting Dylan ready for bed, Drew shredded some paper and "decorated" the house with it! At least he cleaned it all up before his bath!
Well, dinner is done and we half way clean up because Craig is still not home and will need to eat when he gets home. Dylan is ready for a bath and the bread is still not ready. You know where I'm going with this, right...
so, I go bathe Dylan and leave the bread to finish. Well, it does, and gets a little more brown on top than I would like it. Aw man, I wanted it to be so pretty. Now, I only pray it tastes good!
Both boys are bathed and in bed asleep now and I need to finish the goodie bags for 2 classes! I'm having breakfast with my class tomorrow and wearing pj's to school! We are watching Polar Express and kids leave at 12! So, hopefully I can get boys home and all be asleep by 1 for our afternoon naps!!!! Then we have no school for 2 long weeks! YAY!!!!
And of course, Craig will be hunting or working for most of those 2 weeks, so LOTS of mommy and boys time! I'm so excited and looking forward to these upcoming days!
