The healing process

It's been 1 week since Drew's unfortunate fall from bed in his sleep. I've been taking pics daily to see the progress. Here's what we have so far.



Day 1--in ER. Right after being glued back together.




Day 2--wound looks a lot better. Bruising on eyelid and right around cut.




Day 3--probably the worst bruising yet.




Day 4--starting to yellow. Bruised are healing.




Day 5--eyelid bruising getting better. Wound looking great!




Day 6--barely any eyelid bruising. Wound is less red.




Day7--eyelid bruising gone. Wound looks awesome.

The dr. said that the glue would take up to 10 days to come off. I can't pick at it or peel it. This has been so easy to maintain.
I have some Merderma for kids to start applying as soon as the glue comes off. I don't think it will scar that bad anyway. Fingers crossed. His face is too pretty for scars. Although his daddy told him chicks dig scars! Nice.
