Mommy Yoga

I Love yoga. I need yoga. It makes me feel so good. After a long hard day, it all gets washed away during my hour of yoga. I have to thank Craig for my yoga though! Without him, I wouldn't be able to do it. He really encourages me to go, even when I'm tired and grumpy and don't want to go. And, he's always right on, that I needed to go.
So, thank you Craig. Thanks for encouraging me to go and for taking care of the boys while I'm gone. When I leave for yoga, they are in the bathtub and when I get home he has them both asleep. He usually has a cold gatorade waiting for me too. I'm so lucky to have him. I don't know what I'd do without him.
you know what they say....."when mama's happy, everyone's happy!" Guess Craig wants to keep that way!
Namaste.

I'm confused

Ok. I attended A&M, the best years of my life. I have my teaching degree from SWT. I don't consider myself a bobcat, but rather an Aggie. However there is a bit of a longhorn in me. I know this doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but the simple fact that some of the most important people in my life are longhorns, it makes me like them too. Is that possible? For someone to love A&M and also like the longhorns? Yes, I hook 'em and know all the words to The Eyes of Texas. Yes, I say "Texas Texas, yee haw" to get my students' attention. Yes I allow and even buy longhorn attire for my kids. Of course, they have aggie stuff too! As of now, we have 1 boy going to UT and the other going to A&M. Obviously that may change, but one thing I know, neither will go to OU or Tech!
Here's Dylan on gameday saying hook 'em and wearing his gameday hat that Drew passed on to him!

Here we go...

It's time to potty train Dylan. We are all set. I said I wouldn't do pull-ups with him, but I'm starting with them. Our amazing daycare is totally supportive and will do the same things we do here!
His rewards are jellybeans and stickers. Eeek, wish us luck!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is Craig's birthday. We had a small get together last night for him. We watched the UT football game and several of the guys, and a few girls, went dove hunting.
Today I made him and my mom some homemade Mexican food that my grandma taught me to make! It was delicious!
I didn't have time to make them cakes or cupcakes, so I got them each a bundt cake! Mmmmmm, that was well worth it to have those!

Happy birthday Craigy!!! I love you very much. And our boys are so lucky to have you for their Daddy!

Gone Huntin'

Today marked the opening day of dove season. Drew is at the age of going with Craig. He doesn't shoot a gun, yet. It's just a good time for him and daddy. The dogs go and Drew loves watching them get the birds. They have fun together.

Drew's new hunting hat!
Craig picked him up early from school today. Drew was so excited that he wore his camo shirt to school today!

In his own hunting chair watching the dogs.
