I definitely don't consider myself a hero, but I can say that I LOVE my job! This week I've been spoiled by my little nuggets for teacher appreciation week, but what they may not realize is that they spoil me everyday. I have the honor of being called teacher-and I aspire everyday to not only teach but inspire these little ones. I'm not just a teacher...I'm also a nurse, judge, mom/dad, confidant, protector, friend, gardener, scientist, reader, writer, magician, lawyer, counselor. Somedays are hard, sure, but the beauty of being with kids everyday, is that we get to start all over every morning! To the parents that I've met over the years, THANK YOU for sharing your precious gem with me! I love them all!
