I'm a mom!

I'm a mom!

I don't have a dining room, I have a playroom.

I don't have a guest bathroom, I have a kids' bathroom.

My 4 bedroom house is not my own. My kids have a majority of the house and yard!

My backyard is a kids' sanctuary, not mine.

I have toys, books, and other kids' things all over my house.

My own bathtub has a spot for them.

My computer is in the living room so the whole family can use it (and so I can monitor it!)

My car has books and toys in it all the time.

I don't have a purse, I have a Mommy bag with extra clothes, snacks, toys, books,wipes, first aid, etc.

I have baby monitors on my night stand, even though I don't have "babies" anymore.

I check on my boys several times a night before I can go to sleep.

My last thoughts before sleep and my first thoughts when I wake are of my children.

I'd rather be home with them on a Saturday night then out with friends.

I never get to eat a whole meal sitting down.

Or for that matter, never get to eat a whole meal without sharing.

I wear myself out making sure they know how special their birthdays are.

I have dates with a 3 year old and a 6 year old, instead of a handsome man my age!

I don't have sick days.

I can't be too tired to do something with/for them.

I plan family vacations instead of romantic get aways.

I hurt when they hurt, I cry when they cry.

I want to beat up every bully that they come across.

I'm a mom. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes and try not to repeat them.

My boys are my life. I live and breathe for them. Everything I do, I do for them with them in mind.

I'm so lucky and blessed. I thank God daily for my blessings. My greatest gifts are these 2 boys.

This is the best "job" in the world.
