Today would have been my dad's 62nd birthday. He died of cancer 2 weeks after he turned 50. I miss him everyday and want to keep his memory alive for my boys. Once they were born, I had to think of something we could do on his birthday. I'm not a big cemetery person. Plus, he's buried 2 hrs away, so driving the boys just for that didn't seem feasible. So a few years ago, we started the cupcake tradition. So, today my sweet hubby went and got some cupcakes for us. We got 6 different flavors today!

Dylan got a little messy!
They split the chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. That was my dad's favorite flavor!
