Dylan is 2 today!

My little love. My silly Dilly. My monkey. I'm so in love with this little guy. I never thought you could truly love your kids the same. I always felt like there had to be a favorite. I never believed my parents when they said they loved US the same! But now, I totally understand what they meant. My heart grew on this day 2 years ago! It actually started growing the second I found out I was pregnant with this little bundle of joy. He was a very difficult baby, but now, well he's perfect. Yes, he's my second child. My second true love. My second boy. But I love him as much as my first!

He keeps us on our toes for sure. I would not trade those difficult early days for anything. They taught me patience, which I needed! And to appreciate what I have, what some people can't have.

I love that he's so compassionate. He loves people and loves to hug when he thinks he has hurt you. He loves hugs just because. He adores his big brother and wants to be just like him. He kisses me just because. I love the way he says "mama!" when he needs me.

This little boy is one half of my heart. I can't believe that 2 years have already gone by! I no longer have a baby, but a strong, passionate, loving toddler.
