Another great Thanksgiving at my Grandma's house! She did ALL the cooking! Except the pies, thanks mom! :)

Carving the turkey with Dylan supervising!

Look at all that yummy food!

time to make the gravy.....

2 hungry little boys--they said it was "so yummy!"

we always play in Momo's backyard

snuggle time at Uncle Pete and Aunt Devin's house....this was the beginning of the last A&M/UT game.

then I made the kids Pumpkin Pie Spice Playdoh!

THANKS Grandma, Pete and Devin for cooking and letting us sleep over! We had a blast as usual. Can't wait til Christmas!

Thanksgiving Pie

Our school PTO has a really cool tradition....pies for all staff the day before Thanksgiving break. The PTO comes around with pies and we get to pick which one we want. Drew has requested pumpkin the past few years!
As soon as we got home with our pie this year, the boys each grabbed a fork and tasted the pie!

It was homemade and delicious. Thanks Windermere PTO for an awesome tradition!

Sneaky

Found this the other day....

I opened it....

Hmm. At this point, I'm looking at Drew who has a smirk on his face.

So Ms. Klein won't see his candy in his lunchbox. Oh my. I have to give him credit for being so darn clever.
But, sorry Drew, this will not go in your lunchbox.
And yes, we had the discussion about honesty!

Thanksgiving Program

Our phenomonal music teacher did it again! Another music program that was awesome! Mrs. Fisher is the best music teacher around. The first graders do a Thanksgiving program. It's so amazing to see these 1st graders reading parts and telling the history of Thanksgiving.
Drew was really excited that his class was chosen to be Indians. He actually wanted to do the program this year and was really good. He sang every song, danced every dance and had a blast! I even got a small video of him singing on my iphone!

with his best buddy, Blaine.
Thanks Mrs. Fisher! Bravo!

my blogging philosophy

Riding bikes

While I carved the pumpkins, the boys rode their bikes on the sidewalk! They did amazing! :) I think it finally clicked with Drew. We are going to take the training wheels off in the spring--I saw a really neat trick that a friend tried!

Nursery Rhyme Parade

Every year our Kindergarten, Pre-K, and Pegasus classes have a nursery rhyme parade. It happens to fall on Halloween:)
We were having some problems coming up with something and this clever little prop came to my head!

I was honestly dissappointed in how many teachers didn't "get it"! I even wrote Peter's Pumpkin on it!
Get it.....he's Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater....that's his wife in his pumpkin shell!
I thought it was funny! Especially when he called her his trophy wife!
